GENETIC APPROACH TO THE CONSERVATION OF THE THREATENED ENDEMISM DAPHNE RODRIGUEZII (TEIXIDOR)

 

Abstract: This project aims to delve into the patterns and mechanisms that have shaped the genetic identity of D. rodriguezii in order to assess the effect of the factors involved in its confirmed decline. This information will constitute a frame of reference on which to improve the measures aimed at its conservation. We will test a series of hypotheses that will allow us to deepen our knowledge about the origin, state of conservation and effect of biotic interactions in the remaining populations of this threatened endemic plant to Menorca.
